QUESTIONS  AND  ANSWERS ABOUT SELF-COACHING

Q -  I've been a nervous wreck all my life.  Can you really change your personality?

A -   If you're like most people, you probably feel that leopards can't change their spots. For leopards this may be true, but for you it's dead wrong.  If you’ve been limited by your Aspots, whatever they may be--lethargy, anxiety, self-doubt, fear, panic, depression, apathy, or even bad luck--then you need to be convinced that the power for change, real change, is a choice that Self-Coaching can teach you to make.

Q -  I've tried positive thinking and it hasn't worked.  Why is Self-Coaching different?

A -   Positive thinking alone can have an effect on your life, but the effect is limited.  If, however, you combine positive thinking with complete conviction, the outcome will often seem quite miraculous.  The motivational formula that I would like to offer you is this: 50% positive thinking + 50% positively believing = success.  Self-Coaching is a program that will convince you that you can take your life back.

Q -  If I think anxiety or depression are ruining my life, how can Self-Coaching help me?

A - Imagine your life without all the compulsive "shoulds," and "have tos," without the chronic "what-iffing" and worrying.  It doesn't matter if you're a worrywart or perfectionist, driven by guilt or by insecurity. Self-Coaching is the answer to a liberated life. Self-Coaching's step-by-step training program can quickly and easily teach you to break the self-limiting habits of anxiety and depression and replace them with a spontaneous and natural way of life.

Q -  Is Self-Coaching only for someone who's Anxious or Depressed?

A - Absolutely not!  If you're well adjusted, Self-Coaching can teach you to shake off life's setbacks. You can expect your social and personal effectiveness to improve as you become less tripped-up by emotional interference. Mostly, you can expect to enhance your already healthy personality with a more dynamic approach to life.

Q - Why is Self-Coaching different?

A - Unlike other approaches, Self-Coaching has little patience for anxiety and depression. They're treated as nothing more than bad habits – habits of insecurity. The simple truth is that you weren't born insecure you learned it!  And if you learned it, you can unlearn it.  In three easy steps, you will use a proven technique called Self-Talk to replace the habit-thoughts of insecurity that feed anxiety and depression.

Q - What exactly is a Self-coached approach to healing?

A - First off, put aside your old, traditional ideas about what therapy" should" be.  Understand that the potential for healing, real healing, always resides within you.  The best psychologist in the world can't make you get better.  No one can.  Only you.  Self-Coaching is a simple, more direct way to teach you how. Using simple and practical psychological tools (especially my revolutionary technique of Self-Talk) combined with coaching and motivational strategies you will learn to set up a training program that guarantees success.  You already know that effective physical fitness training always means following a program of repetition and progressive effort. Self-Coached therapeutic fitness training is no different–no magic, no gifts, no abracadabra insights, just plain old hard work.  Hard work that pays off.
